ITAL-PMN - Italian (PhD Minor)

The purpose of the Ph.D. Minor in Italian is to develop knowledge and skills that complement a Ph.D. student’s primary field.  This is achieved through completion of graduate-level coursework in Italian.

Per policy (GAP 4.5.1 Doctoral Degrees, Requirements), all of the coursework for a Ph.D. minor must be completed at Stanford.

Learning Outcomes from the Ph.D. Minor in Italian may include a student’s deepening subject knowledge and how it relates to their own area of expertise; a broadening of perspectives that may lead to new insights and approaches; and improved interdisciplinary skills.
