GEOPH-PMN - Geophysics (PhD Minor)

Overview

Program Overview

For a Ph.D. minor in Geophysics, students must take a minimum of 20 units of graduate lecture courses at the 200+ level or higher in Geophysics (of which 15 units must be letter-graded). Students are required to submit a Ph.D. Minor application and it must be approved by both the Geophysics department and the major department. The student declaring a Geophysics minor must have a program advisor that is a Geophysics faculty member. A Ph.D. minor program proposal is due the first quarter the student has declared the Geophysics Ph.D. minor.
