Program Learning Outcomes

The purpose of the Ph.D. Minor is to develop knowledge and skills in Art History that complement a Ph.D. student's primary field. This is achieved through completion of graduate-level coursework in Art History as well as inclusion of a faculty member from the Department of Art & Art History on the dissertation committee of any student with the Ph.D. minor.
