Synthesizing Information : A Design Abilities Studio

Learn to leap from information to insight to inference. We live in an era of information overload. Whether that information already exists, or we are creating it with our own research, it can be hard to make the leap between raw data and meaningful insights. Yet, being able to make sense of information, synthesize it, find insights, make meaning, and use it as inspiration is foundational to innovation, decision making, and critical thinking. This class will pair traditional and emerging synthesis tools - like with lots of deliberate practice to help strengthen your ability to synthesize information in your design work, research, and everyday life.
