Download as PDF

Course Description

PWR 1 courses focus on developing writing and revision strategies for rhetorical analysis and research-based arguments that draw on multiple sources. This course looks at call-and-response which embodies a direct expression of the way we engage with communities and societies across the world. We'll use call-and-response, derived from traditions of African music, as a framework for thinking about how we produce and make meaning in response to societal phenomena.
