Course Description
Gives a comprehensive overview of the principles by which ionizing radiation interacts with biological organisms, presented in the context of human health and disease. Students will learn about the basics of radiation physics and chemistry, DNA damage and repair, radiobiological models, radiosensitivity, radiation effects, risk estimation, radiation therapy, clinical radiobiology, and radiation protection. No pre-requisites.
