Course Description
This is a project-based course that connects students to organizations that are using agroecological approaches to address food production and community food sovereignty challenges. Projects have been framed and will be mentored by Stanford Educational Farm community partners with the support of the course teaching team. Students will work in small groups on community-based projects, taking on individual roles within the larger collaboration. In addition, students in the course can work on the Stanford Educational Farm to satisfy part of the course time commitment.
