Leadership for Society: Daring Dialogues
Download as PDF
Course Description
The rapid explosion of information in our world presents both immense opportunity and critical challenges for society. Instant and ubiquitous information is a powerful driver for innovation and holds the promise of technological advances that can promote prosperity, enhance human well-being, and avert our looming environmental crisis. At the same time, the distribution of data ownership and access to information have threatened important human values, redefined power, and challenged democracy. In Winter 2023, this course will explore these shifts through a series of conversations between Prof. Brian Lowery & leaders from a variety of sectors on the topic People & Planet in the Information Era. Students will then delve further into these topics by engaging in peer dialogs led by the Leadership for Society Scholars.
