PWR 1 courses focus on developing writing and revision strategies for rhetorical analysis and research-based arguments that draw on multiple sources. This course focuses on the discipline of medicine. We¿ll ask questions like: Can a diagnosis have an argument? Is disease a story we tell ourselves? Does the language of medicine influence experiences of health and illness?
