Writing & Rhetoric 1: Hashtag Activism

PWR 1 courses focus on developing writing and revision strategies for rhetorical analysis and research-based arguments that draw on multiple sources. In this course, we'll study the purpose and efficacy of what¿s been called ¿hashtag activism,¿ using the tools of rhetorical studies to help us understand how digital writers craft hashtags to shift conversations, shape audiences, and speak from personal experience.
