Course Description
PWR 2 courses focus on developing strategies for presenting research-based arguments in both written and oral/multimedia genres. This course takes as its theme detective fiction and how it has expanded with empowering results to genders, ethnicities, and social backgrounds considering, for example, the Botswanan women sleuths of <i>The No. 1 Ladies' Detective Agency</i>, the hoodie-wearing, super strong <i>Luke Cage</i>, and Japanese manga's Detective Conan.
