Neurosciences Development Core

For first-year Neurosciences graduate students; open to other graduate students as space permits with preference given to Neuroscience students. Introductory course covers all aspects of nervous system development, from cell fate determination, axon guidance, synapse development and critical periods to neurodevelopmental diseases. The goal is to understand what kinds of questions are asked in developmental neurobiology and how researchers use different tools and model systems to answer these questions.
