Rhetorical and contextual analysis of readings; research; and argument. Focus is on development of a substantive research-based argument using multiple sources. Individual conferences with instructor. Exploration of cosmopolitanism, questions related to globalization, nationalism, citizenship, cultural values, aesthetics, and identity.
