Course Description
VISITING: Open to visitors. TYPE OF CLERKSHIP: Selective 2. DESCRIPTION: Pediatrics 338A provides an advanced experience that mimics an inpatient month of pediatric internship. Students are assigned to one of four inpatient teams at Lucile Packard Children's Hospital, where they assume a primary role in managing patients on a busy, high-acuity ward service. PREREQUISITES: Pediatrics 300A/core clerkship in pediatrics. Visiting students must have completed an inpatient rotation in pediatrics to enroll in Pediatrics 338A and are required to obtain pre-approval from the clerkship director. Please email requests to aestuart@stanford.edu. PERIODS AVAILABLE: 1-12, full-time for 4 weeks, 3 students per period.
