Course Description
VISITING: Open to visitors. TYPE OF CLERKSHIP: Elective. DESCRIPTION: Helps students develop the attitudes and skills necessary for the evaluation and management of patients with pulmonary disease. Students are expected to understand pulmonary disease in the context of internal medicine, using general as well as specific approaches to diagnosis. The clerkship affords direct patient involvement under supervision in the outpatient clinic and on inpatient consultation services.
