Course Description
PWR 2 courses focus on developing strategies for presenting research-based arguments in both written and oral/multimedia genres. For PWR 2 catalog see https://pwrcourses.stanford.edu/pwr-2. In this course we¿ll question what¿s at stake in cultural recyclings and ask what can adaptations and remakes tell us about cultural and political moments? We¿ll draw on work in adaptation, film, and music studies, and on theories of remixing, remediating, and translating.
